She has over 20 years of experience in education, including regular and special education teaching and administration. She holds ACSI and Massachusetts licensure as an elementary and special education teacher, school principal, and special education administrator. Prior to joining Cornerstone as the Head of School, she spent sixteen years as a Senior Administrator for a day school serving special needs students.

She has been at Cornerstone since 2003, when she began as a kindergarten teacher. Prior to coming to Cornerstone, Mrs. Bontempo worked in the business sector for fourteen years and served as an executive to the Commissioner of the state’s Division of Capital Asset Management. She has been active in children’s ministries at her church and been a leader for the women’s Bible study.  Mrs. Bontempo also serves on the Cornerstone’s Professional Advisory Committee (PAC).

When you call the school, you are likely to hear her voice first, since she works three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). Mrs. Lipocky's front office role is primarily focused on student, faculty, and family communication.
