ArtJohn Barry: Mr. Barry recently joined the CCA faculty as the Visual Art Instructor. He holds a master’s degree in Art Education from Framingham State College, and a BFA from Long Island University with a concentration in Graphic Design and Illustration. Prior to joining CCA, he taught at Franklin High School and at the Good Shepherd Nursery School in Medway. He also worked as a student teacher at Nipmuc High School, where he helped develop a series of art lessons for special needs students. Before he became a teacher, Mr. Barry spent 17 years as an environmental graphic designer at Sasaki Associates, an interdisciplinary architecture firm in Watertown. He is a painter, and has exhibited his work in Framingham, Holliston and Norfolk.

He holds a BA in Graphic Design from Moravian College, located in Bethlehem, PA. Prior to joining CCA, he has taught at both New Covenant Christian School and Westgate Christian Academy, primarily as an Art Instructor. Beyond teaching, Mr. Hadley has worked in Educational Publishing and Marketing as well as founding his own graphic design studio, narrowpath studios, located in Westborough, MA. His deep knowledge of graphic design programs and computers enables him to uniquely equip the students at CCA in the fundamentals of computer technology with a focus on leaning how to problem solve situations that inevitably occur with new technologies and their programs.
DramaPauline Wright: CCA's drama teacher, Mrs. Wright, earned her bachelor’s degree in theater from the University of Maine. She belongs to the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and Dance Masters of America. Pauline’s professional credits include choreographing and performing in several productions. She has danced professionally in New York and with the Northeast American ballet, the Berkshire dance theater, and the Boston Dance Company. She owned her own dance studio for several years and recently started a dance ensemble, GuiDance, at the Medway Community Church.
MusicPatricia Lake: Mrs. Lake, a classically trained French Hornist, attended UMass Lowell as a performance/education major. She holds certifications in Orff-Shulwerk, Musikgarten, and Music Together. Mrs. Lake is a member of the International Horn Society, ECMMA, and Esprit de Cor. She has been teaching music and movement for the past 15 years. When she's not teaching, she can be found playing her horn with Symphony Pro Musica (Principle), Sounds of Stowe, and various other orchestras in the greater Boston area. She can also be found in the theatre on stage, designing sets, directing, or as a pit musician. Children's theatre is her greatest passion. She is the owner of "The Joyful Noise Project" and provides Music and Movement at many preschools and daycares in the central Massachusetts area. She also maintains an active horn studio with approximately 20 students from 5th grade through high school.
Foreign LanguageGisela Silva: Mrs. Silva earned a bachelor’s degree from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Iztapalapa and a master’s degree from Institute National de Sciences Appliques. Her work has included international experience in Mexico, France, Austria, Israel, and South Korea. She has taught both French and Spanish since 1998 in several public and private schools. Mrs. Silva joined Cornerstone in 2009 as the foreign language teacher. |
