Middle School Science

The Science scope and sequence for Cornerstone Christian Academy presents God’s world to students from a scripturally sound, Christian perspective and is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. In addition to the content listed, Students participate in the annual ACSI Science Fair.  Science Fair topics correlate with area of study in science class.  Students participate in the full science fair project through Cornerstone and winners for each grade go on to the ACSI Science Fair for New England. Students also participate in weekly science experiments and are required to complete lab reports. Assessment includes weekly quizzes, end of chapter tests, writing assignments and oral questions to demonstrate understanding of each lesson.
